In January 2005 the Barbershop Harmony Society asked me to submit a logo proposal for consideration. They were looking to create a whole new graphic identity for the Society and mine was to be pitted against several designs by a big design firm from Dallas. I think the fact that I had been a member of the Society for 16 years gave me a little edge in knowing how to represent it.
